| ppint. 20th Apr 2018 | number in isbn10 field is^W was not an isbn, nor was is it an sbn9. it should^W has been deleted. collection of five novelettes, two novellas and a short story, eight stories in all; the contents page omits mention of the eighth, the novelette, "the truants". near-identical second printing (date uncertain, mid-70s) is not identified as such in the indica, and shares cover art by karel thole cover price $1.25 (first printing) 352pp? including titles, indica etc. end p. advertising but 2nd printing is identifiable by cover price rise to $1.50 (in white on black rectangle let into front cover at top left, parallel to spine, in place of the original cover price of $1.25), cat# 31591, isbn 0441315917 (the third printing (identified on indica page as the second) 9/83, has totally different cover art by mel odom, isbn 0441315976, cover price $2.75 and is not easily confusable) | |
