ppint. 24th Feb 2019		first published under the pseudonym "eliot george" in uk hardcover anthony blond ltd.1961 this looks to be a later (1970s?) n.e.l. reprint of their 1966 p/b, which they'd doubtless've published under their four square books imprint, cover price 3/6. the film is considerably different, occasioned not least by the removal of the homosexual relationship.
