Magic Marmalade 13th Aug 2016		Maybe it's something they're eating here Terence... Very territorial, and like to buzz bomb the unsuspecting yomper, such as myself... and they don't quit until you're well away! (Or then again... maybe it's just me they don't like)

Magic Marmalade 30th Nov 2015		Beautifully illustrated book, and very informative.... but very long in the tall-ness. (making this an awkward customer for the pocket. I think this would have been classified as pocket guide dimensions in the days of the gentleman's billfold - before general wallet-isation. - "Is that a Mitchell Beazley's Pocket Guide To Butterflies in your pocket...etc.?":). As an aside (All Shakespeare-like): That butterfly on the cover, at the bottom of the picture, is a Peacock Butterfly... Quite common in these parts, but very aggressive little boogers! (As far as a butterfly can be aggressive that is), they will try to chase you out of their patch whenever they can, darting in and out at your head until you leave. - Many's the time on a sultry summer afternoon that a fellow country walker has heard the air pierced by my shrill girly shrieks, only to see my silhouette darting across the tree line with arms flailing around like an inflatable tube man as one of these little gits harried me away.) Be careful out there people.... it's rough in the jungle!
