Their first fame in 1966 with the groundbreaking NBC TV series led to a remarkable run of four consecutive number-one albums and six top-10 singles, including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer" and "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You." The group reached an entirely new audience in the 1980s when those TV shows were rebroadcast on MTV.
