ppint. 25th Mar 2020		near-identical editions/printings sharing merkin-printed covers and hence cat#, cover art unsigned, uncredited (attribution seen to jacques wyrs seems to be from "_seventy-five: jack williamson: the diamond anniversary of a science fiction pioneer_" edited by stephen haffner and richard a. hauptmann (2004), q.v., but may be a misunderstanding: it is not on his website, wyrs.fr) cover price 50¢ 192pp? including titles, indica etc, end pp..advertising refer to indica to see if carcass of the copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed no priority established, nor liable to be, both stating first ballantine printing september 1964 ballantine books third printing 8/1973: cover art "stellar monument d" by jacques wyrs (on his website, at wyrs.fr/galerie4-2.html) (also credited) cat# 23448 isbn 0-345-23448-0 cover price $1.25 192pp? including titles, indica etc, end pp. advertising indica publishing history gives this as the second u.s. printing, and retrospectawigglilly re-dates the canadian first printing as november 1964
