this is/these are the first publication of the novel in separate book form.
(there are two slightly different variants, priority not established: end pp. advertising differs.)
indica gives only a copyright date © 1937
cover art by frank frazetta (credited, and art is signed)

the novel was serialised in all-story weekly 14, 21 and 28/12/1918;
