Hardcover anthology with a newly written preface by Leslie Charteris.

Although identified as featuring "five complete novels", in fact the first two stories, "The Man Who Was Clever" and "The Lawless Lady" are two of the three novellas originally published in Enter the Saint (1930), and The Saint vs. Scotland Yard (first published as The Holy Terror in 1932) consists of three novellas plus an introduction by Charteris. The remainder are full-length novels: The Saint Closes the Case (originally published as The Last Hero (1930) and The Avenging Saint (originally published as Knight Templar (1930). So the actual "novel" count in this anthology is seven, not five.
