Predates the creation of Canada by 32 years. Mackenzie credited as chairman of the committee and thus lead author. Mackenzie's grandson would be future Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King. Full subtitle: "To whom were referred Lord Viscount Goderich's Despatch to His Excellency Sir John Colborne, of the 8th November, 1832. To which is added, the report of the same committee, on the petition of William Forsyth, late proprietor of the of the Niagara Falls Pavilion." Title page indicates exact date of publication, unusual for a book of this era.
