cover art uncredited, unsigned, possibly tran mawicke (this is not an attribution)

10/1975 second printing cover price $1.25, cat# 220688, number-string 523-220688-6° on cover, purported isbn 0-523-00688-8° in indicia
4/1978 third printing (presumed to match with:) cat# 40-442-5, cover price $1.50, red-flashed "over 2,000,000 copies sold" across top spine corner front cover, purported isbn 0-523-40442-5°
8/1981 fourth printing, cat# 41-722-5, cover price $2.25, green flashed "over 2,000,000 copies sold" across top spine corner front cover, purported isbn 0-523-41722-5°

all printings carry the indicia line, "an original pinnacle books edition, published for the first time anywhere."

° do not rely upon pinnacle books' purported sbns & isbns on book printed in this period without first recalculating what the ninth sbn / tenth isbn checksum digit should be, and comparing this with that given, as pinnacle books' manglement was in the habit of fabricating these instead of obtaining and using legitimately-issued numbers.
