price label of knight books, who were/was another midlands wholsaler and who distributed uk category fiction (primarily, iirc) p/bs to their accounts: they were bought by hodder & stoughton, (i think° after setting up knight books of various colours, where the colours indicated the age ranges of the children they were intended to be bought for/by).

(° - hodder & stoughton certainly bought the knight books p/b publishers & brockhampton press h/cvr publishing parts of the business(es); this may have been around the same time, or a part of the well-established uk h/cvr publishers' moving into uk paperbacks via hodder, coronet & hodder fawcett p/b. i don't know the details of this, as it was largely a completed process by the time i semi-accidentally got involved in editorial work at uk sf & fantasy publishers.)

number-string given in the isbn10 field is the sbn from the indica: an isbn is trivially derivable, but this book bears none.
