ppint. 15th Jan 2018		wyndham books - the paperback division of howard & wyndham - oddly still using the last tandem books/ universal books isbn/sbn/cat# on what is now (= was then) badged a star books p/b (star books/w. h. allen's isbn publishers usual isbn prefix for star books being (0)352- )° - and the back cover still refers to this and another "brak the barbarian" series book as being in universal p/b°, which imprint was introduced by w. h. allen to replace the tandem books imprint name.. ..and then abandoned by them. . .° (° - their catalogue was a mess, too, with bits and pieces of star, tandem, universal, universal-tandem, savoy, award (uk), warner paperback library (uk) - and some target - science fiction, "science-fantasy", fantasy, horror, and sundry other oddments scattered in no particular order, in no particularly obvious associational groupings, hither and yon about the thing.)
