"seventh victim" was filmed as "the tenth victim": the film/script was novelised under the new title by robert sheckley: he later wrote the associated novels, "victim prime" and "hunter/victim".

ppint. 30th Mar 2016		in the sense of the originating publishers' first edition, the first edition is the bantam press, inc. first printing, whichever actually went on public sale first. (cf. brian aldiss' second "helliconia" novel, "helliconia summer", whose dutch publishers issued their translation made and published significantly before the originating english language publishers managed to publish the original english language text. . .)
