Joanne Peterson, as Joanne Newfield, was personal secretary to Brian Epstein after he had relocated to London from Liverpool. In 1966 she became his personal assistant and it was she who raised the alarm when Brian was found dead in September 1967. She then became personal assistant to Peter Brown. In 1968 she married Colin Peterson, drummer with the Bee Gees, and later resettled in Australia.

In April 2010 Amazon listed this memoir by Joanne for publication in December 2010. There had apparently been rumours about the book's publication since at least 2005 (see the comments section below).

The book was supposedly withdrawn from publication due to requests from the Epstein family.
