1962-64 saw the Beatles working like dogs to expand their fan base beyond Liverpool and Hamburg. One of two shows they played in Stroud was described by Paul McCartney as the "Beatles worst ever gig". 1963 concerts in Bath, Bristol and Salisbury plus a 6 day residency in Weston-Super-Mare were sell outs, utterly memorable, inciting hysterical fan behaviour.

Catching the Fab Four before they sky rocketed into world beaters, we see them at work and play, just before they became prisoners of their own fame. They take tea by the Grand Pier in Weston, run the gauntlet of Convent girls in Bath and get flour bombed on stage in Bristol.

There's A Place contains many fascinating stories in the words of the fans who met them, a detailed history of the group and their music in the context of the time they lived in, and poses the question 'What will their legacy be?'.
