ppint. 23rd Sep 2021		aka - and (?accidentally?) preceded by - the uk p/b edition, ''immortal blood'' (uk 1988), q.v. * yr hmbl srppnt.'s only just realised i misread the merkin title when this was published - even though i imported and sold some half-a-dozen copies of it, ordering it unaware that it was a retitling of ''immortal blood'' ° - ° - actually the inverse of this, of course: but, being a right-pondian, and - unlike merlin - living forward in time, that's the perspective i had - so i've laboured under the impression that the merkin title was ''those who haunt* the night'' - for a little over three decades. . .°°,°°° °° - well, it made sense - and - imnsho - would've been a somewhat better title... °°° - wot, me slow on the uptake ? how can you think* such a thing?!!???
