ppint. 27th Sep 2018		near-identical editions/printings sharing merkin-printed covers, and hence also cat# and cover art by gene szafran (unattributed, cover art signed) cover price 75¢ 144pp. including titles, indica etc. refer to indica to see whether carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed: further, the canadadian-printed copies are, logically, stated to be the second printing, and this line is dated, whilst the merkin-printed copies are stated to be the third printing, new american library usa apparently retrospectively accounting the canadadian first printing as the second printing over-all. no priority established, nor liable to be. cover design and art retained through the fifth (us)/sixth (canada) joint printing, W8149, isbn 0451-08149-8, $1.50, 1978 by interpolation. (cover art changes to being by paul alexander on nal's simultaneous seventh (us)/eighth (canada) joint printing, AE2022, isbn 0451-12022-1, $2.25 (us), $2.75 (canada), early 1983 by interpolation.)
