ppint. 13th Nov 2017		with that $2.50 cover price not matching the merkin first printing's $2.25, this is liable to be the canadadian first edition (or a third or subsequent u.s, or second or subsequent canadadian printing, should such exist): check the indicia p. for any indication: a note that the cover was printed in $foo1, usa in this case, and the (carcass of the) book was printed in $foo2, canadada, and also for a statement that it is a printing subsequent to the first: a longhand or abbreviated line stating date of subsequent printing, or just fact of same; e.g. number(s) of previous printing(s) progressively dropped from number-string in the publishing history in the indica. canadadian-printed carcasses should bear the note that they are distributed by the new american library of canada ltd.
