The Beatles' UK tour with Roy Orbison had just finished the previous night, but the group was immediately back on the road the following night with a concert at the Pavilion in Bath. This was The Beatles' only concert in Bath. They were supported by Chet And The Triumphs and The Colin Anthony Combo.

As a 12 year old, Bath resident Simon Hurford walked past the music venue that Monday evening (10 June 1963), and more than 50 years later published a book about The Beatles in Bath, with memories of some of the fans who attended the concert.
