ppint. 19th Jun 2018		graham7: that does indeed look like the right "a. babani" - well done, and many thanks for the link. it also raises more questions. . . :-) (my main awareness(es) of the period - 50s through early 60s - was/is of the hulton press, later odhams, later ipc comics & annuals, mostly eagle, girl & swift; then corgi (& some scottie) p/bs, panther p/bs, four square p/bs, some digit p/bs (not most, as they didn't get into north london that much), ace & ballantine mmpbs - and hardcovers borrowed from the libraries: victor gollancz, dennis dobson, sidgwick & jackson, robert hale (rapidly learned to avoid nearly all of these last). . . ) i'd no idea that digit & badger were so closely connected with each other, let alone with hamilton & co. (stafford) - who launched, and then became, became panther books. . .
