Originally published by Gold Medal Books USA # 157 in 1951 and again in Australia by Star Books # 223 in 1954.
Artist is unknown.

American western story writer Homer Hatten took his own life in 1954 having published a half dozen westerns and awaiting the arrival of his seventh to the marketplace. His obituary stated that he had two novels left unfinished. Whatever demons drove him to that end are unknown.
