2nd edition first published 1973 (copy indexed is 1975 reprinting). 374 pages. A 3rd edition followed in the 1980s.

The research for the book was undertaken by students from Henry Kelsey Elementary School in Saskatoon, Sask., Canada, as a school project beginning in 1966 and was edited by Russell, the school's principal. The first edition was published in 1968.
