Notes Photos by Günter Zint. Book dimensions: 24.5 cms x 3.1 cms x 30.7 cms. The photographer Günter Zint, born in 1941, critically documented contemporary German history with his photos. He became known through his photos of Wallraff's revelatory books The Lead and the Bottom. Because of this friendship, Günter Wallraff wrote the foreword to this photo book. Pictures of music greats such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa, which Zint photographed as the in-house photographer of the Star Club in Hamburg, are part of his repertoire. The work of the photojournalist Günter Zint comprises around three million photos and ranges from reports from the anti-nuclear and APO movements about the fall of the Berlin Wall and German reunification to photos of St. Pauli milieu. Günter Zint has also been accompanying environmental problems with his camera for many years. Zint's photographs are currently being honoured in special exhibitions in many places in Germany. in the Bonn House of History, in the German Historical Museum in Berlin, in the Museum of Hamburg History.
