Aurelian Andreescu - Biography

  

Famous Romanian schlager singer
✰ May 12, 1942, București
✞ July 22, 1986, Eforie Nord, Constanța County, following a heart attack
1963 - debuted at first edition of “Festivalul de muzică ușoară Mamaia” (“National Music Festival Mamaia”) with song “În tot ce e frumos pe lume” by Elly Roman.
Since 1965 committed to Constantin Tanase Theatre. Together with the theater staff, toured several countries in Europe and in Israel, Cuba, Turkey.
1968 - won third place at the “Sopot International Festival”, Poland, the "Day of the disc."
Throughout his career, has recorded over 100 songs.
1968 - 1972 - married with Ana Ciumetti.
1971 - won alongside Aura Urziceanu and Mihaela Mihai The Great Prize and European Cup at Pop Music Contest from Knokke, Belgium.
1973 - represents România at the Music Olympics in Athens and opens Johnny Hallyday's recital.
1976 - married with Mariella Annie Dumitriu and in December 15, 1980 they adopts Mirel, their son.
