Box set with 2 discs and 46 page book with the history of Soma Records of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lots of garage bands from the upper Midwest. Two hit tracks are in stereo - #1-4 "Run Run Run" by the Gestures and #1-11 "Liar, Liar (Pants On Fire)" by the Castaways.

vidman45 10th Aug 2014		Added a 2-CD box set of Soma Records and noticed that three of the label's most famous recordings are absent from the collection. "Mule Skinner Blues" by the Fendermen, "Suzie Baby" by Bobby Vee and the Shadows, and "Six Days On The Road" by Dave Dudley. Soma must not still own the rights to these records. Otherwise, this is a very good label comp.
