Comments and Reviews

gnag150flow 24th Nov 2015		Now that I have finished entering all these CDs, some comments on several of them: CD 4 (Duane Eddy): the front cover pic shows Eddie Cochran. CD 11 (The Coasters): the front cover shows 3 people that do not resemble any of the members of the 50s/early 60s group. At least some of the recordings seem to be by Billy Guy and his group of Coasters. CD 15 (Roy Orbison): track 1 is a "live" recording; the other tracks are Sun recordings. All songs are credited to "Orbison", but on several he collaborated with others. Track 11 (Mean Woman Blues) is not a Roy Orbison composition. CD 16 (The Platters): These are later recordings, and some are "live". CD 20 (Bobby Vee): I think the composer credits for tracks 2 and 8 are not correct. They are usually credited to "B. Weisman, D. Wayne, M. Garrett" and "G. Goffin, C. King" respectively.
