Scan from Music Master Country Music Catalogue added showing a release date of May 1987. I think this date would tie in with sheepdip1234's image 814665. The Cat# 103-2 / 253 051 could possibly be wrong as well. Looking over on Discogs the Cat# is split like this - Asylum Records – 103-2, Asylum Records – 253 051 . The 103-2 (looking at the spines of the CD Tray Insert and CD) neither prefixes nor suffixes the 253 051 Cat# but appears to be completely seperate from it. I think the numbers are probably a USA Cat# (103-2) and an EU Cat# (253 051). I may well be wrong but thought I would throw it in for debate.
While this is one of those titles that is obviously easy to come by, but I've always passed over it in the sure knowledge it will doubtless be there when all the more interesting things have dried up - So I have a "One day I'll get around to buying one" policy, much like Tubular Bells - but opening the case and at long last finding a target disc, gave me more joy than is perhaps appropriate for this album...
...I even muttered a small: "Hallelujah!" upon disc-overy.
(It was really becoming "a thing" for me... not being able to find a target of any title... like I was inadequate or something, and it had built to a totally disproportionate scale in my mind: "What the hell is wrong with me?" - well, I suppose it happens to every guy at some time in their life...
...Phew, what a relief... I feel whole again :)
((Disc is a very pale Blue field with purple target blocks and rim - full target))
This one's complicated,as you can imagine there have been quite a few releases. You have a 1984 disc in with a different 1993 release (already on),but all is not lost,it can be salvaged,so
the following corrections have been submitted :
Please change date to -1984
Please amend Cat.No. to read - 103-2 / 253 051
Please delete barcode (no barcode on the first issues)
Please change country to "International" (also issued in the US with exactly the same Cat.No/barcode).
Please add to image 814665's description "Germany"
Please delete images 814663/814664 (different CD already on elsewhere),all other images could
then remain,as they are exactly the same as Cat.No 103-2 / 253 051.
Doing this would create a new listing for what was the first CD release in 1984(without barcode, currently not on the system)
A bit of searching reveals that the first CD issue of this Cat.No/barcode combination was on a "Target" CD in 1984,your disc (image 814665) is a second (early) release also 1984 (German).
