musictom SUBS 30th Mar 2016		I just listened to two of the tracks on Ace and Flair CDs. Sounded fine to me.
PhilMH SUBS 2nd Jan 2016		Maybe if Hoodoo had licensed these recordings from their owners (Concord for the Vee-Jay tracks, Ace for the Crown tracks), then they wouldn't have the distortion and crackling noises, so they didn't quite take "every step" to "achieve the best possible sound quality".
