This is, without question, the worst legitimate CD reissue of an album I've ever encountered. The first ten tracks are taken from a raw vinyl transfer with no declicking, so there are pops and clicks and record noise all over them. The bonus tracks are all taken from low-bitrate mp3s that they found on the internet, and they sound horrible.
If they'd only consulted Nilsson collectors, they would have discovered that the LP exists in a pristine, noiseless vinyl transfer, and the bonus tracks all exist in true lossless form, and sound orders of magnitude better than what they charged money to the public to hear. They could have pirated those instead, and there wouldn't be any reason to complain about this reissue.
