Perfectly acceptable versions of the 60s hits we all know and love - just don't expect authentic originals. Ideal to take to a party, you wouldn't want to be toting your collectors' vinyl around.
See the Mike Pender's Searchers discography to find many more such 'hits' compilations on many labels.
The Ivy League were never a performance band, they were three session singers with uncredited session musicians, so a touring band was formed at the time using the name. Maybe we should add a disambiguation term to this version of the group.
I enjoyed three of the tracks to the same extent I enjoy the originals: Funny How Love Can Be, Good Times, Goodbye My Love
Record Note is of course true for Mike Pender's Searchers. But what other group line ups in 1995 changed and re-recorded for this, quite a few would have been doing the 60s revival circuit around clubs and holiday resorts etc. (nothing wrong in that, just nice to know)
