Magic Marmalade 21st Aug 2017		Thanks Lee, I'll keep my eyes open for some of their stuff on CD. I think there are very distinct "pockets" of collectability growing in the CD market, but a little tougher to gauge the reasons why, and how people seem to know what others are prepared to pay for at the moment, as, unlike vinyl, CDs haven't had the equivalent years of scrutiny, discussion, and basic groundwork done yet. So it's an area this site can be very helpful with, when someone identifies a rarity, or observes unaccountable attractions to certain CDs, we can plant a flag in it, for reference. Largely, I think CD collectability centres (at the moment) around the early "flat transfer" aspect, of music which hadn't yet been re-mastered to death, but appeared in the fashion it did on the original vinyl, but with the convenience and "clean" sounding format of the CD. (but then some people get drawn into collecting things just because it becomes a habit, or a challenge, too :)



Lee Wrecker 21st Aug 2017		Magic, are you still on the hunt for rare CDs well you can't go past these guys. For some reason (??) some of their stuff is very expensive on CD. This CD comp of "Freeze Frame...Plus + Ismism...Plus" goes for 50 Euros. I'm glad I got mine when it came out
