@PhilMH,@philwill.A quick search shows that you both could be right on this one,1988 looks fav for the first appearance of the Cat.No (issued in Japan also, diff Cat.No in the same year),and image 1079035 of the Disc, clearly shows "M&L Universal" pressing plant, which according to Discogs, didn't start until the 1st April 1999.So this particular Disc is a fairly modern (1999-or later) repress of an old Cat.No.
It can be hard to tell the dates of A & M releases manufactured by PolyGram and then Universal, because A & M was distributed by PolyGram in at least Germany before PolyGram bought the label in late 1989, so 1987/88 could well be right for the first occurrence of this catalogue number. PolyGram in Australia started distributing A & M as of 1st January 1990, and the only Quincy Jones release in that week's Platterlog update (which included bulk A & M and Island releases) was THE BEST, which had catalogue number 393 200-2, so that lends extra support to 1987/88.
For what it's worth, it doesn't appear in either the 1990 or 1993 editions of Music Master CD Catalogue. I note the disc was manufactured by Universal M & L, Germany which was officially established only in April 1999.
