 Unusual one, in that it's Vangelis only release on Deutsche Grammophon (Traditionally a Classical label)
As to why it's on DG i'm not entirely sure, as, it is an Ambient/non-rhythmic work using conventional instrumentation and Electronics. Perhaps it was released on DG to appeal to a wider Classical audience?. I know that sometimes an artist is deemed "Classical" if they have had classical training, and maybe Vangelis had.
And then again maybe this was deemed to be "Classical Electronics", who knows :)
