peter schmallfuss is the soloist & sole artist credited on disc 1, on which he was recorded playing a bechstein, and also on the rear printed-paper insert; disc cd 160230 mfd by pilz cd germany © 1988
no artist, conductor or orchestra is credited on disc 2, but on the rear printed-paper insert the information is as given above: no indication is given as to which of the two named soloists played on which piece (though it is liable to have been peter schmalfuss on those tracks (4-6) without orchestra, and marian pivka on the piano concerto, together with the slowakische philharmonie conducted by dohnanyi (tracks 1-3)); disc 160310-2 (p) 1990 mediaphon, © 1992 & mfd by pilz cd germany.
n.b. disc 2 was also issued alone as 160310-2, bar-code no. 036244631021, printed-paper front insert identifying it as being in the vienna master series, which both of these discs are (disc 2 being identical with that of the separate release), but which is mentioned nowhere on the printed-paper inserts in the double cd package. (nor is there any mention on disc nor inserts of "digital-classic", which has been mooted elsewhere as the correct label name for the vienna master series - inter alia - mfd by pilz cd.)

ppint. 17th Sep 2015		- in notes: - for "bechsteinbechstein" & "insertsinserts" please read simply "bechstein" & "inserts" respectawigglily - tablettything's auto-mis-correct-after-you've-left-a-completed-word struck, and struck once more... (correction already requested.)
ppint. 12th Sep 2015		- i've flagged this as "international" because it's stated on the rear printed-paper insert thus: "distributed by pilz uk ltd. and pilz america inc."; feel free to disagree (and even emend) :-)
