The Australian discs should be made Australian. International is just the name Discogs gave for the 01 and 02 codes. These cd’s were made primarily for the European market. As can be seen in this entry Australia had its own pressing plant. I don’t think there is a way to satisfy everybody, but I know that simply going for country of release messes things up in a big way. These are my last words concerning this. I really get annoyed by this subject..
I had previously asked for this to be made International, but that wasn't done. However, looking at the details on Kevin's original copy, and on mine (which slightly differs) in the light of the CBS/Sony Haarlem codes found on Discogs, the case for International is now stronger. Kevin's shows 02-468909-10 on the back insert, the 02 signifying "International Nice Price (since 1982)" according to the Discogs list; my rear insert (not yet uploaded ) has the same code except with 01 prefix, for "international product".
The Australian discs (1222605/1222606) were pressed by SMEA - Sony Music Entertainment Australia, as were some Australian/New Zealand artists with Aust/NZ releases only.
Australian discs added (1222605/1222606) from my copy, bought in December 1996. The package is outwardly the same as the European package, with the same catalogue number and barcode, and, looking in my Platterlogs, the Australian release date was 16th December 1991, and at that time it would almost certainly have been a European pressing (probably this same Austrian one) released here. Incidentally, my booklet was mucked up too - all the pages were there, just put in and stapled the wrong way around! Anyway, please change country to International.
EDIT: the missing writing credits from Kevin's original copy are all shown on my copy, so the note here should be deleted, if Kevin hasn't asked for that to be done.
