disc one: 532 519-7 (532 518-7): the original album originally released privately by john martyn sold by mail-order by him and beverley from their home, 10,000 copies being mfd. for john martyn by emi by arrangement made on his behalf by island records: live at leeds (with the island cat# ILPS 9343)
the concert was recorded on the island mobile studio facilities by sound engineers john burns, assistant brian pickering 13-02-1975
disc two: 532 519-8 (532 519-7): tracks 1-4: further concert tracks including the encore; 5-10: recorded during rehearsals.
island's mobile unit recorded 16 tracks onto 2" tape @ 15 ips.

tracks 2-4 & 10 feature paul kossoff on lead guitar and, briefly, on danny thompson's double bass. drums & percussion were by john william stevens, and john martyn on his acoustic martin guitar, using gibson boomer pedal, electro harmonix big muff, fender amplifier, echoplex and a phase shifter as well as vocals.
the album was mixed at island, basing street, london by rhett davies assisted by dave hutchins 1/6/75 with further editing & mixing during 8/75. unrevealed at the time, only three of the original lp's six tracks are from the 13/2/75 concert, the other three being recorded in london. the full concert is released here, remastered by paschal byrne of the audio archiving company.
