nboldock 12th Mar 2014		Beautifully-packaged 5CD boxset of rare and unreleased tracks, live tracks, demos, alternate versions, and so on. The book (built in to the packaging) contains lengthy notes about the evolution of the band and notes on every track, as well as a host of photos, most of which I believe were previously unseen. This was later re-released in a smaller clam shell format (at a lower price point). I think that release came with shorter sleeve notes etc, though I haven't seen it in the flesh so to speak. No doubt someone will add it at some point. I'll add the composer details later and possibly some of the sleeve notes when time permits. A few extra scans as well, though I won't be able to scan the book as it won't go flat on the scanner. The discs are rather handsome things. Bit of a work in progress, this one, and will take a while to get all the detail on here given the size of the boxset! This is currently the most expensive musical item I have ever bought. £40-odd at time of release. And worth every penny. Outstanding in every way. As a final note, the boxset was compiled and collated by guitarist Philip Chevron who sadly passed away in 2013.
