Images Comments and Reviews plocky45 ● 27th Sep 2014 I'll let you into a secret - my first thought was Def Jam, but the small print and prominent 'Island' changed my mind... and European versions seem to be just Def Jam with no reference to Island nboldock 24th Sep 2014 Though Public Enemy are obviously associated with Def Jam, in this case it does state that Def Jam are the licensing label, licensed to Island, so I think it's correct as it stands (though my first thought was to agree with you, until I checked the small print). PhilMH 24th Sep 2014 Personally, I would have Def Jam as the first label for this, and Island as the second - both label names appear on the back cover and on the spines. plocky45 ● 23rd Sep 2014 This is the UK version, made in the UK - copyright/publisher Def Jam Recordings exclusively licensed to Island Records in the UK. The disc includes a skull image. It seems that the European version does not have any reference to Island, and the disc image is minus the skull image.
