| | As for releases on Discogs: I noticed a couple of things. People are slowing down on adding records. Secondly, more and more people complain about rediculous prices, sellers not responding. I hope it won't become the same here, especially now we add "value" (whatever a lunatic may pay for what he desperately want, and what a lunatic will ask for he/she desperately needs money).
For me it is still a sport and a kind of triumph to see that regulary I add new 45's, cd's or other items that are not (yet) in Discogs :-) |

| | It's interesting that Discogs has only 5 pressings of this release - two "European" (this one, and a later Universal M & L pressing), two US, and one Canadian. I refuse to believe that this wasn't released in any or all of Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Middle East and Asia, so I suspect that at least the Euro pressings had wide distribution (and the Western Hemisphere probably got US ones distributed through PolyGram's local companies or licensees). Also, I'm not sure if this happened in the same way during PolyGram days (though I tend to suspect it did), but I gather that present-day Universal maintains a whole division based in The Netherlands (fancy that) whose primary function is to co-ordinate the "international domestic" release of product via their affiliates, hence the Netherlands address that appears on much product available here in Australia and elsewhere. Anyway, I gather that OC and DD are going to discuss this issue (if they haven't already done so), so I won't be submitting any more until it's resolved one way or the other. |

| | *gronk*; "international" actually records° less information than "yeurppean"+"strine" would - were "yeurppean" an extra available to use, rather than an alternative to the national flags. . .
° - sorry (-ish) |

Lee Wrecker 14th Sep 2019
| | Another Australian release! See Phil's comment. Is it getting boring yet?? Something still needs to be done about these problems in this land. I'll be back with more when I can be bothered trying to untangle the intangible. |

| | I suspected as much Phil but wasn't sure, I have sent a correction based on your advice. Thanks for the insight. Cheers, Lee. |

| | I would make this International, Lee - Platterlog has this as released in Australia on 27th November 1995, and my copy (bought locally in 1997) is identical to yours. PolyGram tended to just use the Euro pressings for catalogue reissues (though I think I have a Motown compilation CD somewhere that was actually an Australian pressing). Anyway, one day I'll sit down and work out how many duplicates I have of these songs! |
