Expanded edition of 1972 LP, including all 13 titles Professor Longhair recorded for Atlantic in 1949 and 1953. The version of "Tipitina" released in 1954 appears for the first time on CD; track 2 is an alternate take first released on the LP. Tracks 7 and 8 are newly released alternate takes.

laviolet 28th Aug 2015		Atlantic released three singles from the 1949 sessions on 78 RPM only, and "Tipitina" / "In the Night" on both 78 and 45 in 1954. All are posted here and on 45cat. The other titles remained in the can until 1972.
