Parsifal Based On Parzival by Wolfram Von Eschenbach (A Re-telling, Continuation, and completion of the unfinished Arthurian Romance: Perceval, by Chretien De Troyes)

Portions of this were used in John Boorman's film: Excalibur, along with Siegfried's Funeral March From Siegfried (part of the Ring Cycle: Der Ring Des Nibelungen) also composed by Richard Wagner, and Carmina Burana composed by Carl Orff.

Magic Marmalade

The actual CD case is a replication of the slipcase design, both front and back, and the booklet is the same on the front, and blank on the back.

I'm a big fan of Arthurian Legend and Literature, so naturally, I bought this... I can take quite a bit of lengthy heavy opera like Wagner's works... but this is mostly dull, or for genuine Wagner heads.. lacking the drama of other works, which makes their length bearable (just), I sat through this in it's entirety only once, and as Nicol Williamson's wonderful Merlin said in Excalibur:

"It took me nine moons to recover... never again!... NEVER!"

(I might get around to splitting up the "tracks" into their component section sometime... but that might be just as arduous as listening to the whole thing again... and it's all German titles!)
