Added an image - #1628857 - of the advert in "Blues & Soul" 909 (Dec 23rd 2003) that states that this CD was already available. Curiously, an article about Joss Stone in the following edition of the magazine stated that it was to be "officially released through Virgin-Relentless on February 2nd".
My copy came with a card that invited people to join Joss Stone's mailing list by returning it, with details, to "Relentless Records, Kensal House, 553-579 Harrow Road, London W10 4RH".
I would tend to go with Relentless and S-Curve (and maybe Virgin) as the primary labels based on the logos on the back cover, and EMI North America is just the company that owns the copyright. Catalogue number doesn't really determine the label here, because EMI used one numbering system for all their distributed labels (as do Universal and Sony).
There is a nut to crack here:
(c) and (p) is EMI North America, but other labels mentioned (or present by logo) are Relentless (London), S-Curve and Virgin. However, the cat# belongs, as far as I see, to EMI (UK), and that's why I listed this CD under EMI (UK) for the moment being. EMI (UK) as such isn't mentioned anywhere explicitly though.
I can add that is it not helpful right now that I can't find the disc that goes with the tray ... sigh
