The cat# is correct as Janie entered it and while cptbeefheart may well be right in that the bolded part is what is used for ordering purposes the cat# 8 21134 2 never appears on the CD or packaging. Both the CD and inlay list the cat# as Janie entered it 7243 8 21134 2 3. I can't see the point in changing the cat# to a number that is evident in that form on the CD at all.
@janiejjones.I don't want to harp-on,but may i ask why are you entering case scans as the front image?,i thought the accepted norm was to enter the the front of the booklet/insert as the primary "front" image, surely, case scans can be added to the page, along with the other scans.I'm a bit concerned that.as a Moderator, what you do,influences new members, and can forsee a raft of "case" scans being added to the site, which, would not be to the benefit of CD Album world IMHO.I cannot see how a scan of a booklet in a case can be better than a scan of the booklet outside of a case?,for a start there is a lack of contrast, the colour is slightly altered behind plastic, small text will not be so clear,it's smaller, what about colour tinted cases?and not to mention the question of "is that the right/original case"?,unless a CD has been bought by yourself from a retailer, how on earth can you be 100% sure that the case hasn't been replaced/renewed at some point?,and what about scratched cases?,i fear that going down this road would only open an unwanted/unnecessary can of worms, one,i'm sure.the other Moderator's could do without.
