Notes

A remastered version of the 1980s The John Lennon Collection, with a few changes in tracks. Issued with a 20-page black and white booklet providing a few details for each track and photos by Spud Murphy and from the Apple archives.

Promo copies of the CD (CDPP-037) were released prior to the official release date. Parlophone issued two one-track promotional CD singles, Imagine (IMAGINE 001), and Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (IMAGINE 002) which was issued in the run-up to Christmas, in order to push the album. In Spain the album was promoted with a one-track promotional CD single of God (PE 98030).

In October 2003 the album was re-promoted with a colourised slip case showing a different catalogue number (595 0672) but the CD included was the 1997 release.

The composer credit for Give Peace a Chance in the booklet is John Lennon only (rather than the usual John Lennon & Paul McCartney).
