 Had a bit of a Pink Floyd CD binge today.

The ones I own are these 1994 remasters. I have this, Dark Side Of The Moon, Meddle, and the Canadian Issue of Wish You Were Here (Although I'm not sure that makes much difference), and it's the first time in a long time I've listened to them on CD... Mainly due to the extended period of MP3 listening, then getting back into the vinyl...

... And not listened to these on my system as it now is (had a smaller stereo way back then).

The thing that has prompted me to post something about it though, is that although they are all good issues, this one in particular is sensational!

I don't know why it's different, but it's recorded much louder than the other albums, and is clear as a bell, rich, deep, and very full sounding. It fairly knocked my socks off, and I wasn't expecting it!

I'd would venture to say that this is one of theirs that is quite possibly better than my original stereo Vinyl issue (Slightly later press with the black/silver labels)

Meddle is actually the quietest of the remasters.

... but this.... Holy Shit!
