| | Wonder if it's the same with UK copies?
Sometimes one country let's something through, but not something else, while another does the exact opposite with no clear consistency. |

| | The original U.S. vinyl single and album did NOT have the "HIGH". Nor did early CD issues. It was later when CD remasters added it.
My guess is that it was originally recorded that way but Elektra balked at putting it out and edited the word out. |

| | This goes to show how an average music "consumer" like me can buy an album, imagining it to be the same as every other issue of that title, and never have occasion to discover otherwise...
I think I bought my copy of this pretty much when it came out, and not ever having noticed it was a US copy till I compared it to this site, just assumed it was the same as every other issue. But having read your comment musictom, I was compelled to listen again to this album, and the track you mentioned (never a bad thing to have an excuse to listen to this again!).
Sure enough, the word: High is omitted (never registered before!), although I'm still not aware if that difference exists on other issues of this (I know he sings it in the live versions... but did they ever record it in the studio for release?). |
