Notes

the minority of tracks dated on the f.insert were recorded 1966-8; the remainder are liable to be of similar vintage as bobby purify (he changed surname from dickey to that of his cousin) retired in 1970. (james continued, replacing him with ben moore.)
the twenty-six tracks are (c) arista records, so all will be from the merkin bell group of labels: in the 60s & 70s in the uk, i recall the "brothers"' singles appearing on the stateside label.
camden was an rca label used by them for classical music. the bertelsmann music group, bmg, revived the label for mid-price reissues & compilations of back catalogue indiscriminately of the recordings' original labels, or even group of labels.
