 "What's Best" means reflecting as closely as possible where something was released, and if something was manufactured in Europe for the whole world, then Europe is not sufficient! Is that common sense enough for you?

 Never said this also applies to the UK labels like Ace or German like Bear Family or whatever independent company from whatever country. We must use common sense of using what's best and push the button "Use Brain" when adding.

 Well, I for one would like to know what the site owners think, and whether or not they have plans to address this issue (and, quite frankly, it's about time that a decision or at least a plan of action was announced, as this has been going on for ages): if countries of release are going to be replaced by country of manufacture, then I'm dead against it. And, how are these situations going to be addressed:

Made in Europe (e.g. France, Germany, EEC, EU) but released by a mainly English company (e.g. Ace/Kent, Connoisseur Collection, Charly, Demon, Cherry Red, etc) - all should be listed as UK (unless someone can prove to me that these labels had European licensing deals, and weren't just made available in Europe via importers);
US releases made in Europe or Japan (US/Canadian London is the example that most recently springs to mind because of the formerly split ownership of the Decca name, plus many early Polygram CD releases made in Germany were released in North America too).

If the site's ethos is to remain as reflecting country/countries of release, as I think it should, then it needs significant upgrading to allow multiple countries to be added, and then International can be done away with.

 I think you're right Lee. We can add in notes: "This version was also released in Australia". Going on this way keeps the catalogue in order and will prevent others from adding it again as a European issue. In the long term we might get rid of the dreaded International category all together.
Manufactured in Australia ----> Australian entry
Manufactured in EEC and also released in Australia -----> European entry
Manufactured in USA and also released in Australia -----> USA entry

 Most likely the Australian release too (that's where I bought it) but I like it listed as EU. What do others think?
