The tracks were presented in the wrong order on this CD due to the way the original vinyl was pressed (Sides 1 and 4 appearing on one disc, sides 2 and 3 on the other).

Magic Marmalade 9th Aug 2014
| | Thanks for the alert on this gregs78s...
Just checked my foamy inserts.... haven't opened the box for a few years, so when I read your post I dashed to look...they're yellow/ brown, a little stiff, but not quite brittle, and hasn't caused any chemical burn though, thankfully... might keep the originals in there as they don't seem to be causing any grief (But might put a piece of something between each and the discs to be sure) |

gregs45s SUBS 8th Aug 2014
| | Minor rear tray artwork variation added and reverse.
It perhaps should be mentioned that these early "Fatbox" issues came with a foam insert, which,if not removed will, over a period of time,go brown and brittle, and stick to the disc face, creating a sort of chemical burn,so it's a good idea to remove any of these foams, they can be bought online again if you want to sell it on. |

| | Although I haven't found a date for this issue in Martin C. Strong's book, 1984 might be the correct release year according to the catalogue number and the barcode, and is also confirmed by Musik-Sammler. Discogs has a date of November 1984 for this issue which we can take until someone knows better. |

| | Date of release needs to be changed to 1984. The first Hendrix release on CD, at least in Europe. |
