Magic Marmalade 24th Feb 2021		I'd buy that for a dollar! (Little Robocop reference for there Leonard :) ...Which means, yes, I'd go along with that... Probably take some fishing out though, as there's probably a few attached to regular issues.



leonard 24th Feb 2021		Why don’t we make new labels for these club editions? BMG Direct, Columbia House with the correct catalog numers first and the original label and cat number as alternate. It will bring together all issues and make them easier to date.



Magic Marmalade 24th Feb 2021		I think club editions should be separate. I'm not sure if the same issue (club issue) was available internationally, and if they should therefore all be International, or if there were national variants of club issues (?) (They are confusing to the uninitiated, when you you first find them, and wonder at the "barcode" which isn't a barcode, so a separate entry would help, if accompanied by notes explaining the difference... and maybe one day we could tag these regular issues with a note: "Club edition available" or some such, and maybe even a link to the other ?)



LaurenceD SUBS 23rd Feb 2021		I see that we have the standard cat# here (823 636-2), along with scans from a BMG Direct issue. In addition there is separate item here with the BMG cat# (D104898). I think that we have usually been combining the regular issue with the BMG variant in such cases IINM. If there are no objections I will merge the two items and add a couple of scans (inlay, disc) from the regular issue.
