Added scan from Music Master 11th Edition which might give a more realistic date

@confranfan, I forgot to ask where you bought this, and whether you bought it new; did you perhaps buy it in The Philippines or elsewhere in SE Asia? One of those countries might be the real country of release, or you could just throw caution to the wind and assign the currently contentious "International" to it!

I doubt that this was a 2000 release; the back insert states "Printed in West Germany", so that dates it to before German reunification, which occurred on 3 October 1990. The catalogue number also suggests a 1980's PolyGram issue rather than 2000, by which time PolyGram had been taken over by Universal and the catalogue number styles had changed somewhat (even in late PolyGram days, Polydor catalogue numbers started with 5 rather than 8). And although the disc was made in Korea, I doubt that it was released there; the handful of real Korean issues in the database, including this one, suggest that the catalogue number styles were different, and there were references to Korea and their Ministry of Culture on the packaging; that disc also has a second catalogue number that is fairly close to this one, and a copyright date of 1987, so I think 1987 or 1988 would be likely for this. PolyGram here in Australia distributed some Korean pressings too in that time frame, and I suspect they were manufactured for the wider South East Asian region. This disc doesn't appear to have made it to Australia, though, as it is not listed in the Platterlog catalogue, but PolyGram here already had THE VERY BEST OF CONNIE FRANCIS (827 569-2) available, so they likely thought that they didn't need another hits collection.
